Finance introduction

Purchase-order finance for government, parastatal and mining opportunities ready to be assessed.

When you hold a qualifying purchase order or contract, a clear and properly documented case matters. Start a secure Prospero pre-qualification so the opportunity can be reviewed through the platform’s controlled broker workflow.

Prospero makes introductions; it is not the lender and does not guarantee approval, rate, timing or funding.
Government, parastatal & miningFor qualifying purchase orders or contracts submitted through the secure intake.
R250,000–R330 millionIndicative funding range; each opportunity is assessed independently.
Southern Africa & beyondCountry-specific documentation is confirmed through broker and financier review.

The opportunity is stronger when the evidence is ready.

Purchase-order finance depends on the commercial reality behind the request. The pre-qualification gives you one secure place to describe the opportunity before any possible financier introduction is considered.

01

Keep the facts together

Set out the purchase order, supplier invoice, funding requirement and operating context in a clear initial submission.

02

Protect the opportunity

Prospero controls the intake and progression of the case; deal information is not used to create uncontrolled direct introductions.

03

Know what happens next

Your case can progress only after review. Any financing decision remains with the relevant financier.

A controlled route from intake to possible introduction.

The platform captures your pre-qualification first. This keeps the process accountable and protects each party before any next step.

01

Create a secure account

Enter through the Prospero platform and select purchase-order finance as the purpose of your request.

02

Submit the commercial summary

Provide the company, order, supplier and funding details. Do not upload sensitive banking documents in the initial form.

03

Await broker review

Prospero reviews the pre-qualification before any potential introduction or secure document request progresses.

Finance, pricing, timing and terms remain subject to the relevant financier’s assessment, due diligence and agreement.

Prepare the same essentials the secure intake asks you to confirm.

This is a practical checklist, not a promise of eligibility. Having the information ready helps the initial review be clearer and more useful.

What “local equivalent” means.

CIPC means South Africa’s Companies and Intellectual Property Commission. B-BBEE means Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment, a South African framework. They are not universal SADC documents: applicants outside South Africa provide their local registration evidence and any ownership, tax or compliance evidence requested for the opportunity.

South Africa

CIPC registration evidence; B-BBEE evidence only where applicable or requested.

Botswana

CIPA registration certificate or company extract; applicable local ownership or compliance evidence.

Namibia

BIPA registration evidence and any applicable local compliance documents.

Zambia

PACRA registration evidence or current legal entity record.

This is practical intake guidance, not legal or tax advice. The broker and relevant financier confirm the final, country-, counterparty- and transaction-specific document set before an introduction progresses.

What to know before you begin.

Does pre-qualification guarantee finance?

No. It is an initial review. Any finance decision, pricing, timing and terms remain subject to the relevant financier’s due diligence and agreement.

Who can apply?

This route is for qualifying government, parastatal and mining purchase-order or contract opportunities. The information submitted is reviewed before any possible finance introduction progresses.

Is Prospero Brokerage the lender?

No. Prospero coordinates the secure intake and controlled introduction process. It does not represent that finance will be approved.

Where is my application stored?

Your submission is stored in the secure Prospero Supabase platform and handled through the existing finance pre-qualification workflow. The landing page itself does not collect or store application data.
